Welcome

An author needs a website, and a website needs a blog.

And this is that blog.

Prior to setting up this website I had a Substack, and that Substack had some lofty goals. Weekly posts curated to specific topics. That lasted maybe two months. So what’s different about this one? Basically nothing except the attempt at structure. I’m going to write what I want, about whatever book/writing/probably dogs topics I want. I’ll try not to dwell on analytics, or doing things the right way.

For all intents and purposes I’m bringing back my old LiveJournal days, when I posted the most cringe, out of pocket stuff, without a care in the world for who would see it. Ah, those were the days, before I made it through a full wide leg jeans/skinny jeans/wide leg jeans cycle and I thought my side swept bangs were the shit.

If that’s the kind of stuff you like, follow along. There’s no schedule. There will be times I’m working on other things and won’t post for months. And there will be times when I’ll post far too much for some people and they might leave. So be it. I’m here for a good time, not an Instagram Algorithm perfect time. As such this will be lightly edited with my ramblings left to thrive in their own, weird little space.
